When? Where? What? Do I have to read?:

Our first community roundtable is on November 20th at 4pm (310 Comal St)! We’ll be reading the short essay “The Art Scenes” from the Journal of Contemporary Aesthetics. We’re in the midst of the Big Medium Austin Studio Tour, so we’ll talk community: Global and local, past and present. What really is a “scene”? Do they make a difference in the art? What is Austin’s “scene”? Come with questions about the reading or feel free to show up and just listen. All backgrounds and interest levels are welcome.
