A private sensory-filled experience for lovers and intimate friends at one of Austin's foremost art galleries, Martha's Contemporary.

Sip on champagne with your loved one(s) and enjoy an immersive video art screening in the ambiance of a virtual picnic. You will have the gallery and virtual environment all to yourselves for one full hour! Perfect for before or after dinner, one of the most creative and mood setting experiences this Valentine's weekend has to offer. This is a one of-a-kind experience happening this weekend only.

This edition of Video Picnic is located at Martha's Contemporary this Valentine's Day weekend, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Each private screening is one-hour long and attendance is limited to no more than six groups per evening with time slots at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. Each $41.50 ticket covers 1-4 people. Picnic Baskets for two filled with libations and snacks are encouraged to complete the experience and are available at time of ticket purchase.

Supporting local and international artists, your ticket and basket purchases will go directly to video artists and Video Picnic facilitators.

Video Picnic is designed to ensure safety with one group or couple enjoying the experience at a time, one-directional traffic, and sanitization between each scheduled group.
